At this time, members of the audience are permitted to address the Parks and Community Services Commission on items of
interest to the public, however, in accordance with GC 54954.2, no ACTION or DISCUSSION shall take place on any item
which is NOT on the Parks and Community Services Commission Agenda. The Commission may respond briefly to
statements made or questions posed, or may request Staff to report back at a future meeting concerning the matter.
Furthermore, a member of the Commission may direct Staff to place a matter of business on a future agenda. Any person
may arrange with the Parks and Community Services Director (no later than 11:00 a.m., on the Wednesday preceding a
regular meeting) to have an item of concern placed on the agenda for the next regular meeting. The exceptions under which
the Commission MAY discuss and/or take action on items not appearing on the agenda are contained in GC
54954.2(b)(1)(2)(3).

5.1 Art in the Parks Program
The Dublin Fine Arts Foundation has been working on the "Art in the Parks Program"for the past year.
Models of the artwork selected by the Neighborhood Selection Committees for Stagecoach Park will be
presented.
STAFF RECOM l ENDATION:• RECEIVE PRESENTATION FROM DUBLIN FINE ARTS
FOUNDATION; APPROVE RECOMMENDED ARTWORK; AND DIRECT STAFF TO PRESENT
ARTWORK TO CITY COUNCIL FOR APPROVAL.

8.1 Dublin Lions Club Service Project. Purchase and Installation of Additional Playground Equipment and- _
Site Furnishings in Handicapped Playground at Kolb Park
The Dublin Lions Club has proposed a potential service project which involves the installation of animal
"spring-riders",park benches,a garbage can and possibly a picnic table in the handicapped playground at
Kolb Park. Upon completion,the improvements would be donated to the City.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: RECEIVE STAFF PRESENTATION; RECEIVE LIONS CLUB
PRESENTATION; APPROVE PROJECT IN CONCEPT AND DIRECT STAFF TO SUBMIT TO CITY
COUNCIL FOR CONSIDERATION
