Senior Center and Youth Advisory Committees 3.2 Presentation by Dublin San Ramon Services District on Clean Water Revival Project At this time, the public is permitted to address the Parks and Community Services Commission on non-agendized items. The Commission must,however, comply with all State Laws in regard to items not appearing on the posted agenda. The Commission may respond to statements made or questions asked, or may request Staff to report back at a future meeting concerning the matter. Any member of the public may contact the Office of the Parks and Community Services Director related to the proper procedure to place an item on a future Parks and Community Services Commission agenda. The exceptions under which the Parks and Community Services Commission MAY discuss and/or take action on items not appearing on the agenda are contained in GC 54954.2(b)(1)(2)(3). 4. MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETINGS-JUNE 22. 1998 STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Approve Minutes. 5. WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS-NONE 6. PUBLIC HEARING-NONE 7. UNFINISHED BUSINESS 7.1 Heritage Fall Festival The Heritage Center Advisory Committee is recommending that the Heritage Fall Festival.not be held in 1998. The Commission will review the alternate plans to showcase the Heritage Center that have been developed by the Committee. STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Receive Report and Provide Input. 8. NEW BUSINESS 8.1 8th Annual Water Carnival The Commission will receive a report on the upcoming Water Carnival at the Dublin Swim Center on August 8. STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Receive Report. 8.2 Winter 1998 Quarterly Report The Commission will receive a report summarizing the activities conducted during the Winter Quarter which encompassed the months of January,February,and March. STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Receive Report 8.3 Youth Advisory Committee Appointments A subcommittee of the Commission has reviewed the 31 applications received for the Youth Advisory Committee and will be making recommendations on appointments to the Committee. STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Confirm subcommittee recommendations and direct Staff to advise the Mayor of Commission's recommendations. 9.
