ORAL COMMUNICATIONS The City Clerk will administer the Oath of Office to new Parks and Recreation Comissioner, Holly Lampe. At this time, members of the audience are permitted to address the Parks and Recreation Commission on items of interest to the public, however, in accordance with GC 54954.2, no ACTION or DISCUSSION shall take place on any item which is NOT on the Parks and Recreation Commission Agenda. The Parks and Recreation Commission may respond briefly to statements made or questions posed, or may request Staff to report back at a future meeting concerning the matter. Furthermore, a member of the Parks and Recreation Commission may direct Staff to place a matter of business on a future agenda. Any person may arrange with the Director of Recreation (no later than 11a.m. , on the Wednesday preceding a regular meeting) to have an item of concern placed on the agenda for the next regular meeting. The exceptions under which the Parks and Recreation Commission MAY discuss and/or take action on items not appearing on the agenda are contained in GC 54954.2(b)(1)(2)(3) . 4. , MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING - JULY 12, 1994 STAFF RECOMMENDATION: APPROVE 5. NEW BUSINESS 8.1 Fiscal Year 1994-95 Teen Program Planning is underway for the 1994-95 Teen Program and Staff has outlined a suggested program for review by the Commission. STAFF RECOMMENDATION: RECEIVE REPORT AND PROVIDE INPUT 8.2 Department Name Change One of the 1994 goals adopted by the City Council was to identify potential name changes for the Recreation Department to more accurately reflect the programs and services administered by the Department. The Commission will review various Department names. STAFF RECOMMENDATION: PROVIDE INPUT ON POTENTIAL NAME CHANGE 8.3 Annual Park and Facility Tour The Commission will select a date and time for the annual tour of City Parks and Recreation facilities.
