DUBLIN PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION
REGULAR MEETING - September 12, 1989 SHANNON CENTER
Tuesday - 7 :30p.m. East Room
1 . CALL TO ORDER
2 . ORAL COMMUNICATIONS
At this time , members of the audience are permitted to
address the Park and Recreation Commission on any item which
is not on the Agenda . Comments should not exceed 5 minutes .
If any person feels that this is not sufficient time to
address their concern , that person should arrange with the
Recreation Director to have their particular concern placed
on the agenda for a future meeting .
3 . MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING - August 8 , 1989

4 . WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS - None
5 . OLD BUSINESS
5 . 1 Skateboard Park
The Commission agreed to pursue a skateboard facility
and directed staff to obtain information regarding
location , costs and insurance . This information is
attached for the Commissions review , as well as a copy
of the Skateboard Risk Evaluation and a layout of the
Benicia ' s multi-use facility .

6 . NEW BUSINESS
6 . 1 Alamo Creek Park - Phase II
The final design and construction documents for Alamo
Creek Park - Phase II have been prepared by Singer &
Hodges , Inc . for Commission and public comment .
STAFF RECOMMENDATION : Receive Presentation and public
comment and provide direction to staff and consultant .
6 . 2 Fall Special Events
During the Fall quarter , staff will be sponsoring the
Children ' s Spooktacular Halloween Program ; Festival of
Lights , Tree Lighting Ceremony ; and Breakfast With
Santa . Staff has prepared a summary of each event for
the Commission ' s review and approvel .
STAFF RECOMMENDATION : Provide Input
6 . 3 Joint Commission Meeting/Danville-Dublin-San Ramon
The City of San Ramon would like to host a joint
meeting of the Commissions of Danville , Dublin and San
Ramon on Thursday , October 12 , 1989 .
STAFF RECOMMENDATION : Receive Information
