CITY OF DUBLIN YOUTH ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING

1. CALL TO ORDER

3. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS ..
3.1 40'Youth Developmental Assets Program
Mrs. Rousch, a counselor at Foothill High School in Pleasanton, and a member of the Tri-Valley
Youth Coalition will provide information to the Committee regarding the 40 Youth Development ijj
Assets Program.
3.2 City of Dublin Poet Laureate
Ronnie Holland the City of Dublin's Poet Laureate will provide a brief presentation to the
Committee Members on the role and responsibilities of the City of Dublin's first Poet Laureate.
3.3 At this time, the public is permitted to address the Youth Advisory Committee on non-agendized
items. The Committee must; however, comply with all State Laws in regard to items not
appearing on the posted agenda. The Committee may respond to statements made or questions
asked, or may request Staff to report back at a future meeting concerning the matter. Any
member of the public may contact the Parks and Community Services Department related to the
proper procedure to place an item on a future Youth Advisory Committee agenda. The
exceptions under which the Youth Advisory Committee MAY discuss and/or take action on
items not appearing on the agenda are contained in GC 54954.2(6)(1)(2)(3).
4. MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING–January 14,2009
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Approve Minutes.
5. WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS-NONE

7. NEW BUSINESS
7.1 Subcommittee Reports
Subcommittee Members from the St. Patrick's Day Festival Booth, Website, "Bearing is Caring"
fundraiser and the Video Game Tournament Subcommittees will provide an update on the progress
and planning of each of these activities.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Receive reports.
8. OTHER BUSINESS
8.1 Brief Informational Only Reports from Committee Members, Sub Committees, and/or Staff and
Reports by Commission related to Meetings Attended at City Expense (AB 1234).
9. ADJOURNMENT
