CALL TO ORDER • 2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE — _ - • 3. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS At this time, the public is permitted to address the Youth Advisory Committee on non-agendized items. The Committee must, however, comply with all State Laws in regard to items not appearing on the posted agenda. The Committee may respond to statements made or questions asked, or may request Staff to report back at a future meeting concerning the matter. Any member of the public may contact the Parks and Community Services Department related to the proper procedure to place an item on a future Youth Advisory Committee agenda. The exceptions under which the Youth Advisory Committee MAY discuss and/or take action on items not appearing on the agenda are contained in GC 54954.2(b)(1)(2)(3). 4. MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING—March 28,2007 STAFF RECOMMENDATION: APPROVE • 5. WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS— 5.1 Institute for Local Government Staff will provide information regarding web dialogue for City and County Youth Commissioners in California. STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Receive report. • 6. UNFINISHED BUSINESS-NONE • • 7. NEW BUSINESS 7.1 Fall 2006 Teen Quarterly Report • Staff will present to the Youth Advisory Committee Members, the fall 2006 Teen Quarterly Report which • includes statistics and program information for the Student Union program and Teen Events. STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Receive report: 7.2 Fall Teen Programs Staff will solicit ideas from the Youth Advisory Committee Members regarding implementation of various 'teen programs during the fall quarter Which begins in September 2007. STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Receive report and prioritize ideas for fall teen programming. 7.3 Youth Advisory Committee End of Year Activity Staff will solicit ideas from the Committee on potential activities for an end of year activity. Staff will coordinate this activity to celebrate the accomplishments of the-Committee during the past year. Also, Staff will ask for feedback from Committee Members on their experiences serving on the Youth Advisory Committee. STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Receive report and provide feedback. 8. • , OTHER BUSINESS 8.1 Brief Informational Only Reports from Committee Members, Sub Committees, and/or Staff and Reports by Commission related to Meetings Attended at City Expense (AB 1234) 9.
