CITY OF DUBLIN YOUTH ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEETING

1. CALL TO ORDER
2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
3. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS
3.1 Puhlic Continent
Al this time, the puhlic is permitted to address the Youth Advisory Committee on non-agendized
items. The Committee must, however, comply with all Slate Laws in regard to items not
appearing on the posted agenda. The Committee may respond to statements Hanle or questions
asked, or may request Staff to report hack at a future meeting concerning the matter. Any
menther of the puhlic may contact the Parks and Community Services Department related to the
proper procedure to place an Item on a future Youth Advisory Committee agenda. The
exceptions corder which the Youth Advisory Committee MAY discuss andlor take action out
items not appearing out the agenda are contained in GC 54954.2(6)(1)(2)(3).
4. MINUTES OF TIIE REGULAR MEETING —September 26, 2007
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: APPROVE MINUTES
5. WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS - NONE
6. UNFINISHED BUSINESS—NONE
7. NEW BUSINESS
7.1 Teen Sports-Related Events
Staff will outline upcoming new teen sports-related events and solicit input from Committee
Members.
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends that the Committee receive the report and
provide input on the event components.
7.2 Teen Special Events
Staff will ask for ideas from Committee Members regarding potential tech events to be offered
during 2007-2008.
STAFF RECOMMENDA'T'ION: Receive report and provide input on potential teen events.
7.3 Publicity Suhcomtniltee for Teen Special Events
Staff will solicit interested Committee Members to serve on a Publicity Subcommittee to assist
with the advertising of teen special events.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Receive report and recruit interested Committee Members
to serve on a Publicity Subcommittee for teen special events.
7.4 Teen Wehsite Suhcommillee
Staff will ask for interested Committee Members to serve on a Teen Website Subcommittee
responsible for providing information and features on the website which should draw interest for
teens to visit the site.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Receive report and recruit interested Committee Members
to serve on a Website Subcommittee.
7.5 Dublin Tree Liohting CeremonV
Staff will recruit interested Committee Members to volunteers to assist in the set-up and general
assistance during the Tree Lighting Ceremony at the Civic Center on November 29, 2007 from
6:15 PM to 8:30 PM.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Receive report and recruit interested Committee Members
to volunteer at Tree Lightin, Ceremony.

8.1 Brief Informational OnIV Reports from Committee Members, Sub Committees, and/or Staff ail
_Reports by Commission related to Meetings Attended at CitV Expense (AB 1234).
