CALL TO ORDER 2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE 3. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS • 3.1 Axis Community Health (Formerly Valley Community Health Centex) Amy Wytiaz, Adolescent Program Coordinator at Axis Community Health, will provide a brief presentation on education and support programs for teens regarding alcohol, drugs and other related information. STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Receive report • 3.2 Public Comment At this time, the public is permitted to address the Youth Advisory Committee on non-agendized items. The Committee must, however, comply with all State Laws in regard to items not appearing on the posted agenda. The Committee may respond to statements made or questions asked, or may request Staff to report back at a future meeting concerning the matter. Any member of the public may contact the Parks and Community Services Department related to the proper procedure to place an item on a future Youth Advisory Committee agenda. The exceptions under which the Youth Advisory Committee MAY discuss and/or take action on items not appearing on the agenda are contained in GC 54954.2(b)(1)(2)(3). 4. MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING—October 25, 2006 STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Approve Minutes • 5. WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS - NONE • 6. UNFINISHED BUSINESS —NONE 7. NEW BUSINESS • 7.1 - Youth Advisory Committee Goals and Objectives for 2006-2007 Committee Members will identify committee goals and objectives for 2006-2007. Staff will assist the Committee in the facilitation of establishing goals and objectives. STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Receive report and identify goals and objectives for the 2006-2007 term • 7.2 St. Patrick's Day Festival Subcommittee Staff will solicit volunteers from the Youth Advisory Committee to assist at the City information booth during the Festival. Festival dates are March 17th and 18th, 2007 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM each day. • STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Receive report and determine Subcommittee members 8. OTHER BUSINESS • 8.1 .Brief Informational Only Reports from Committee Members, Sub Committees, and/or Staff and Reports by Commission related to Meetings Attended at City Expense (AB 1234). 9.
