CALL TO ORDER 2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE 3. ORAL COMMUNICATIONS 3.1 PUBLIC COMMENTS At this time, the public is permitted to address the Dublin Senior Center Advisory Committee on non-agendized items. The Committee must, however, comply with all State Laws in regard to items not appearing on the posted agenda. The Committee may respond to statements made or questions asked, or may request Staff to report back at a future meeting concerning the matter. Any member of the public may contact the Office of the Dublin Senior Center Recreation Coordinator related to the proper procedure to place an item on a future Dublin Senior Center Advisory Committee agenda. The exceptions under which the Dublin Senior Center Advisory Committee MAY discuss and/or take action on items not appearing on the agenda are contained in GC 54954.2(b)(1)(2)(3). 4. APPROVAL OF MINUTES MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING—JANUARY 5,2006 STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Approve Minutes. 5. WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS-None 6. UNFINISHED BUSINESS-None 7. NEW BUSINESS 7.1 STEP OUT FOR SENIOR CENTERS EVENT The Dublin Senior Center's 5th Annual Step Out for Senior Centers event has been scheduled for Saturday, May 20, 2006. In the past this event has featured a walk, pancake breakfast, an art exhibition and display of services and resources available to local seniors. Staff will present the proposed program plan for the 2006 event. STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Receive report, provide input on the proposed program plan and appoint two Committee Members to serve on a subcommittee to assist with event planning and promotion. 7.2 2005 FALL QUARTERLY REPORT Staff will present a summary of the programs and services offered at the Dublin Senior Center during the fall 2005 quarter. RECOMMENDATION: Receive report. • 8. OTHER BUSINESS • 8.1 BRIEF INFORMATIONAL ONLY REPORTS FROM THE DUBLIN SENIOR FOUNDATION, PARKS AND COMMUNITY SERVICES COMMISSION LIAISON, ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEMBERS AND/OR STAFF AND REPORTS BY COMMITTEE MEMBERS RELATED TO MEETINGS ATTENDED AT CITY EXPENSE (AB1234). 9. ADJOURNMENT This AGENDA is posted in accordance with Government Code Section 54954.2(a) If requested,pursuant to Government Code Section 54953.2, this agenda shall be made available in appropriate alternative formats to persons with a disability,as required by Section 202 of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990(42 U.S.C.Section 12132),and the federal rules and regulations adopted in implementation thereof To make a request for disability-related modification or accommodation,please contact the City Clerk's Office(925)833-6650 at least 72 hours in advance of the meeting.
