3.2 Public Comments
At this time, the public is permitted to address the Dublin Senior Center Advisory Committee on non-
agendized items. The Committee must, however, comply with all State Laws in regard to items not
appearing on the posted agenda. The Committee may respond to statements made or questions
asked, or may request Staff to report back at a future meeting concerning the matter. Any member of
the public may contact the Office of the Dublin Senior Center Director related to the proper
procedure to place an item on a future Dublin Senior Center Advisory Committee agenda. The
exceptions under which the Dublin Senior Center Advisory Committee MAY discuss and/or take
action on items not appearing on the agenda are contained in GC 54954.2(b)(1)(2)(3).
4. MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING—October 7,2004
STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Approve minutes.
5. WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS—None

7. NEW BUSINESS
7:1 FACILITIES FEASIBILITY STUDY
The City has started a feasibility study to explore trends, local market opportunities and determine
the community's preferred components for a new Recreation & Aquatic Complex in Emerald Glen
Park. The study will also develop a vision for the programs and activities at the new Community
Centers planned for Shannon and Emerald Glen Parks. Staff is seeking input from the Advisory
Committee for the study.
RECOMMENDATION: Receive report and provide input on programs and amenities for
new community facilities.
7.2 EVALUATION OF SENIOR CENTER VOLUNTEER BANQUET
On October 28, 2004, the City held the annual Senior Center Volunteer Recognition Banquet. The
Advisory Committee will evaluate the event and provide input on next year's banquet.
RECOMMENDATION: Receive report and provide input on the 2005 event.
