NOTE NEW LOCATION: DUBLIN CIVIC CENTER COUNCIL CHAMBERS (100 CIVIC PLAZA) 1. CALL TO ORDER 2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE 3. ' ORAL COMMUNICATIONS 3.1 Brief Informational Only Reports from Dublin Senior Foundation 3.2 Public Comments At this time, the public is permitted to address the Dublin Senior Center Advisory Committee on non-agendized items. The Committee must, however, comply with all State Laws in regard to items not appearing on the posted agenda. The Committee may respond to statements made or questions asked, or may request Staff to report back at a future meeting concerning the matter. Any member of the public may contact the Office of the Dublin Senior Center Director related to the proper procedure to place an item on a future Dublin Senior Center Advisory Committee agenda. The exceptions under which the Dublin Senior Center Advisory Committee MAY discuss and/or take action on items not appearing on the agenda are contained in GC 5 4 9 5 4.2(b)(1)(2)(3). 4. MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING—November 4, 2004 STAFF RECOMMENDATION: Approve minutes. 5. WRITTEN COMMUNICATIONS—None 6. UNFINISHED BUSINESS—None 7. NEW BUSINESS 7.1 CHAIRS FOR THE NEW SENIOR CENTER A Chair Survey was conducted during the month of November to explore and determine the senior community's•preferences for chairs for the new Dublin Senior Center's dining room, card room, classroom and outdoor areas. The survey asked respondents to rank each chair in six areas including overall comfort, ease of getting in and out, back comfort, length of the seat, width of the seat, and the height of the seat. Staff will provide an overview of the survey results at the meeting. RECOMMENDATION: Receive report and provide input to Staff on the preferred chairs for new Senior Center. 8. OTHER BUSINESS 8.1 Brief INFORMATIONAL ONLY reports from the Advisory Committee Members and/or Staff 9. ADJOURNMENT • This NOTICE is posted in accordance with Government Code Section 54954(b)(3).
