The estimated cost for immediate repairs (pumps, motors, aad heating system)
was $25,000 to $30,000. The cost of the heating system repairs will remain
undetermined until the pump replacement is completed and the system can be
tested.
There is $101,200 approved in the 1988-89 Capital Improvement Budget for
Swim Center renovation. Due to the proximity of the swim season, the
majority of the anticipated work in this budget will be delayed until after
this swim season. This work will therefore be done in the next Fiscal Year.
